When we created this site we set ourselves this challenge. To describe what we do in 2 minutes. But, to be honest, I'm struggling to work out how I can cram everything into that time.
I'm sure that you've seen something of our collaboration portals and how they securely connect all of your teams together. And how your collaboration can also extend to your customers and partners.
But I feel that I should point out that the success of the collaboration services we create is not just about our software. Our software is brilliant, with thousands of options and features so that it can tuned to your exact needs. Most of these options are just a 'flick of switch'; we can turn on (and off) incredible features in seconds. But software that is as sophisticated and feature rich as ours, software with thousands of options, is complex and we know that's not something you want to deal with*. Our customers work in sales and marketing and we provide a service that allows you to concentrate on sales and marketing. That's why we offer a managed service not just software.
| * Software systems like ours are sometimes classified as SaaS (Software as a Service). The idea is that you buy the software but use it online and don't have to worry about maintaining it. SaaS is often described as 'self service' software giving the impression that it will work straight away. But here there is a BIG problem. The more capable/complex SaaS services usually require you to become an expert or hire an expert to set them up and manage them for you. You spend money on the licences and more money on the expertise you need to make it all work. That's not the case with our services! We provide a true software based service. |
Our service is the reason that you don't need to dedicate anyone to become a system expert on our collaboration portals. We host your system and we manage it too. We set it up for you and constantly tune it for you as your needs change. Our customers think of us as part of their team. You can tell us what you want to achieve and we make it happen. We use our experience to create great software for you and we help you to get the best from it. We do all of this for a simple monthly fee!
Of course our software, and the service we wrap around it, is a major reason why you shouldn't listen to people inside your business (your IT guys or a tech savvie marketeer) if they tell you that all of this can be done on your existing systems, or using some other online system they've seen. If that were true why hasn't it been done already ? Why don't you have all of this today? The answer is they didn't have the time and resources (and maybe they don't have the original ideas and skills either) . If you gave them the time and resources (and you were sure that they have the ability to pull it off) then they could make you system that's not unlike* ours.
*Its more likely you'd get a system that's just like what you already have with a few features bolted on - and it still won't do what you need
BUT if you gave them time and resources you'd spend more money than we'd charge. You'd have to allocate your staff to do jobs that we will do for you, you'd be basing your business on an unproven system and you'd be months (if not years) behind where you could be. The fact is ...
